Organic, non-GM, heirloom food plant seed

 

I have been growing my own food for a number of years now but more recently converted to heirloom genetics. This was a logical progression for me as the heirloom varieties are a safer healthier bet. There are far more heirloom varieties available than commercial ones and the varieties have not been bottle-necked by modern commerical breeding programmes. I collect all heirlooms but I keep only a handful I find useful out of the many many varieties available. A big focus of mine is collecting and growing African heirlooms as well as exotic varieties from around the globe.

 

 

 

I produce seed for personal use from each season. When I acquire new varieties, I grow them out, analyse them and save seed from desirable specimens if I choose. At times I have more seed than I need. and this will only increase as my production does. So I have decided to make any extra surplus I have available to people who might be interested in enjoying some of what I have worked with so far.
